I have been in an on and off relationship for eight years now. More so on than off. Weve had our share of troubles but yet still find ourselves unattached from the other. We have lived apart now for three years.
During this time I have evaluated and re-evaluated our relationship and the love vs. the hurt. But come up still questioning the stability of a future together.
I know that being with him is certainly a safe situation. With societys ever growing population of psychos a safe haven seems like a perk to me. Being a very impatient person, learning someone new would seem like a timely task that I dont have eight more years to invest in. And whos to say, Mr. X isnt some crazy nutt that decides to kill us all in our sleep? Im just so overwhelmed with all of this.......
We have wonderful fun together, do many family activities with the kids, share a lot of the same interests, and know each other like a text book. The boys love their daddy so much and enjoy their time with him. Hes always there to help out where he can. And did I forget to mention that he pays his child support, has a job of 17 years, no addictions, and loves to spoil me.
So whats the problem then? Huh?
Well, when it comes to personal time with each otherId rather have sex with a stranger on a park bench in the daylight. He doesnt do it for me anymore. I dont know what it is but I have no passion for him what so ever. Maybe its a mental thing from his cheating in the past? I still do spend adult time alone with him but thats just to keep him pacified.
What do I do mummers? Your opinions are welcome, even those that arent so nice.it is however an opinion. Just dont bash me too bad. lol. Thanks for listening to me complain.
