today i gave away my heart
for the chance of eternal love
yet some where beneath my soul
lies an unacceptable loss
but years ago you were my attention
placed in my heart by an unseen hand
so much was lost when u left
can i ever get that back
my future is uncertain to me
will your love with stand the strain
faith and forgiveness are companions of mine
but pain and sorrow are my masters
alas,my heart feels no more than most
yet i can spare no less than the whole being of my heart
here i will give you the most sacred of vows
and you shall never be forgotten by my heart
and every single shedded tear that falls from your beautiful green eyes
will and forever be a reminder of your memory of me

too many times i see you cry
from the reaches of my mind
i hold you close and feel your need
your pain is why my heart does bleed
a river of love for you so dear
at night i cry but empty tears
for you and just for you alone
my mistakes can never be condoned
your eyes see things so very clear
and you hear things that i cant hear
but all in all when things look grim
a happy soul are you on a whim
only an open heart can see
just what it is you mean to me
i'll tell you this and this is true
nothing can explain why i love you

Everytime I see you cry
A little peice of me die's
For I don't know what pain has done to you
To cry those tears the way you do
Now and then when I see your smile
Time just stops for a little while
Even though we'll never say "goodbye"
Late at night,every night, I cry
For you,just tears of emptiness
For the way I feel without you near
To hold you close,to wipe those tears
To soflty whisper in your ear

So when I sit back and think of why

walking in heaven up above
you sing your songs just like a dove
my angel girl, mommy sends her love
for today is your special day
and i love and miss you in every way
you never uttered your first cry
but you became a butterfly
your not forgotten but missed so much
by all the loved ones you have touched
for today i stand at your grave and cry
just like the last ten years gone by
my baby girl u'll always be
all you have to do is wait for me
forever in my heart you will lie
right up until the day i die
then we'll be together forever
and for all eternity
