GENERAL: Hi everybody! My name is Mike, you can call me Mike. I am a sophomore in college at ECC. I am a weird guy if you know me, I cant really say that I'm always down to earth or up in the clouds, because it kind of switches back and forth. I am a loud guy with a quiet lifestyle. I dont drink or smoke and I dont go to parties or clubs. I'm a pretty easy going guy and I get along with pretty much everyone, probably because I am so open to everyone, I hold no biasis or hatreds to any religion, sexual preference, ethnicity, caste, class, you name it I get along with it. I have been told that I'm pretty funny and it must be true because I can make people laugh without even meaning to do so. I almost always have something nice to say about things, which maes me the worst critic in the world. I am an open book, I am open with almost every detail of my life even to people I just met. Theres not really any question about myself that I wont answer, and in relation to that I am a very honest person, sometimes to the point of bluntness. I am a huge animal lover to the point of being pathetic. I am a pretty clumsy person. If something is in front of my face chances are I will never find it. I am in many was as stubborn as a mule, and I always have to have the last word in anything, and I can be VERY persistant. I lose things easily. I used to be very directionally challenged until I had a head injury, and now it has gotten a lot better. I think about things, even small insignificant things, too much and in too great detail. I tend to be taken advantage of by people, probably because I dont really know how to say no. INTERESTS: I love music; any kind of music. And when I say any kind of music, I MEAN any kind of music. You name it, I listen to it. My favorite type of music however is Irish, Celtic, or Scottish, in that order. I am a big Ireland buff. I am a writer; I love to write poetry and short stories, and I've just finished my book I've been writing. I need to find a publisher though. I love nature; If I could live in the woods, you bet your ass I would. I love forests, caves, rivers, streams, mountains, plains, bogs, swamps, and everything in between. I love night time when its warm, and will look up at the sky for hours.I love experiencing other cultures; foods, music, history.I have many hobbies; I play the piano and tin whistle, as well as anything relating to it such as the recorder; I translate and study ancient ruins, including Quenyan, one of the languages from Lord of the Rings; I play video games and watch tv; I love to go outside and hike or clean up the woods; I love to help others; I collect several different items, including swords, foriegn coins, seashells, and books. I love books. I have a small library in my closet. I dont play any sports, though I like soccer and fencing. I am a HUGE history buff; ancient history mostly. I am an unofficial crypto zoologist, paranormal and ectoplasmic reasercher, botanist and alchemist. I study alchemy, and have been studying it for some time now. My specialty is the Philosophers Stone, and various studies of the Phoenix, as well as the individual and general histories that correlate to alchemy. I know little about political topics, but I am a liberal, and idealist, and more of a Green than anything else. I am addicted to quizes (see my blog) and myspace in general, I am on here all the time, at the very least once a day. I am not a religious person, though I am very spiritual. I meditate when I can and I try to find connections with nature and the world in general. I do not claim to be a part of any one religion but to be a small part of them all. I pride myself on being a philosopher and I love philosophy in general. So that is me in a nutshell. If what you saw interested you, then send me something!
