I spent 3 yrs in the ARMY, and was discharged in May of 2007. I have been married once, but it didn't last long (back in 2001). I met the love of my life over 10 yrs ago (another girl), we dated for over a yr, and then split up, due to issues. In 2008 we gave it another whirl, and it didn't work out yet again. I love her with all of my heart, but she doesn't love me. There's no hope there for anything. I have lost much recently. In that trash heap is some of my faith in humanity. I now know from experience, that just because you love someone with all of your heart, it doesn't mean that it'll work out, and that you'll get your happy ending (no pun intended). Both people have to be partners in the relationship to make it work. Both people have to want it as badly as the other. Let's just say that I wanted it more than the love of my life. I fought harder for it, and was basically carrying her dead weight the whole time. I'm not as bitter as I an enlightened though.

This universe owes us nothing, and nothing is exactly what it's going to give us. Everything we have, everything that we are, we have fought for (in one way or another). Life will only give you what you earn, what you fight for. I want a happy life. I want a woman that I can love and trust, and that will love and trust me back. I am an honest, loving, and loyal guy. I want to prove all of those idiots wrong that say that "nice guys finish last."

Oh, and I love getting inked, and think tats are sexy as hell on a girl. I have a few more tats planned for myself, but just don't know when I'm going to get around to getting them done.
