OK, McCain is picking Sarah Palin as his Vice Presidentail running mate. She is a 44 year old woman Govener of Alaska.
I think this is a brillant move on his part. I mean Obama rejected picking Hilary Clinton, after she won more popular votes than he did in the democratic primaries, thus pissing off many people in the democratic party and was especially a slap in the face to many women, so I think McCain picking this woman is a fantastic move for him and the republicans! Sounds like she is also a great pick because, unlike what Obama has said about wanting change and being a Washington outsider, where both he and his Vice Presidential pick are both US senators who are definitely Washington insider's, this gal has never stepped foot in Washington, she was born in IA and raised in Alaska which is about as far away from Washington as one can get!
I say hooray to McCaine for picking her, what say you? |
