Ok first off this is not tryin to offend people who smoke its just a thought that me and my friends have conveyed from time to time so i want to see what others think about it.
It's proven that seat belts save lives in many car accidents and it's also proven that cigarettes have ended lives through various medical diseases. Yet it is against the law to not wear a seat belt but still legal to smoke. These are both choices that one should be allowed to make on their own. If it has to be a law to wear a seat belt why can't it be an age limit to set such as 18 with smoking.
So my mumm question is should smoking be made illegal or should seat belts be an option and not something to get ticketed for?
Once again this is nothing against smoking or smokers I just feel that in this instance these two items can be compared.
A. SMOKING MADE ILLEGAL
B. SEAT BELT OPTIONAL |
