Okay! Some of you know that I am in a huge custody battle between my ex husband and ex in laws over my son. Well, its been two years of nothing but court hearings and battles and still no success.
I got divorce 3 years ago, I had custody of both children, and my ex and his parents brain washed my son telling him that its my fault, I cheated on his daddy and I was the one who ruined the family. Which is untrue, because the one who did all that is married to the one he cheated with. They made my son hate me and he took a knife to me and my daughter who was a baby then. So, my exhusband took custody of our son.
He remarried and his new wife gave him the option either her and her daughter or his son. My ex signed custody without my permission to his parents. When I found out I filed for custody. The courts gave me custody for six weeks then gave him back to his grandparents. We have been appealing this decision for over two years now. Mean while, my son is now used to being at his grandparents house and now just started getting good grades and getting help with his anger problems. One moment he says he wants to move back in with me and one moment he wants to stay with his grandparents. I started all this because he asked me to move back in two years ago. He says more that he wants to stay with his grandparents then me. I love him so much and want him back, but I don't want to disturb his progress. Plus, its going to be a long and rough road to gain him mentally and emotionally back due to the brain washing that he has been going through for the past two years.
I just go the choice from my lawyer to either stop the process of custody or to move on to the Supreme Court. Should I stop the process or should I move on to the supreme court.
I know this is long, but I am so confused and want to do what is best for my child. He deserves the best in life. Please help me decide what to do.
