as a sort of punishment i made my son pay for his summer school with his own money...
of course he was a little aggravated over it, however when we walked out he admitted that he kind of liked paying for it himself and thought it felt "kinda cool".(his words)
well his mom got wind of my making him pay and flipped out..griping saying something about previous years when he lived with her she paid for him to go and i should be paying instead of making him pay.
so i told her she was insane because the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. this way he will know what its like to have to pay for something senseless when he could have taken care of it for free the first time around instead of being lazy about it.
did i do right
or
should i have foot the bill myself for him to go
