I am a 31 year old widowed mother of three children. My husband and I were separated at the time of his death just over eight months ago(September 2, 2010), but he was my best friend and it broke my heart to lose him and for our children to lose their father. I am a fulltime student at a small bible college majoring in counseling psychology with a minor in family and children ministries. I plan to get my master's degree online after getting my undergrad and then become a crisis counselor for children. I love my children, my God, and my education more than anything. I do not drink at all, but I have found some interesting people on Fubar which is why I have been on the site for two years.

Interests

I adore music...love to sing, but have not sang formally since high school so my voice is raw and untrained again. I would love to learn to play an instrument. I would love to learn to play the drums, guitar, and piano. I love most kinds of music except rap...love classic rock, some jazz, Christian, hard rock, some country, classical, some New Age, some international music.

I love to read...Harry Potter, The Shack, anything by Jodi Piccoult(she wrote "My Sister's Keeper" the film that came out one or two years ago), Dr. Seuss("One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish" and "Oh the Places You Will Go" are my favorites), "Goodnight Moon" by Margaret Wise Brown, any kind of psychology books(my passion), etc.

I love playing on the computer, some painting, needlepoint, cooking, etc.

Music
