| Once upon a time i had this dream.... of becoming a famous singer. As a kid i sang lots of solos in school concerts and at church and i actually liked it. But as i got older, my mom became infatuated with trying to make me REALLY popular and started signing me up for contests and things without my consent. As i was more pressured into doing these activities by my mother it became really stressful and i didnt like to do it so much anymore, it was as if my dream turned into my moms dream. I still like to sing and being on stage is such a rush, i love it.... should i go back and try to follow this dream that i once had or should i just stay away from it for fear of my mom going all nuts on me and trying to take over my world again? |
