| I work at a doctor's office. I am basically the girl everyone loads up with the work they are either too busy or lazy to do. It pays well so I don't mind. I was coming back from a lunch/coffee run when a patient started chatting me up. He asked me out. I declined told him thank you but I am not looking to date right now and went on my way to the recepcionist's station. The doctor I work for yelled at me for being rude and causing him emotional damage. I make it a rule to not date anyone who comes into any workplace I am currently employed at. I enforce that rule more now that I work at a psychiatric clinic. I know for a fact that the patient is married. So even if I had said yes I think his wife would have had a problem with that. I explained this to the doctor, she still wrote me up for unprofessional conduct. Which means I get docked 25 dollars in pay and have to report to a workshop. Should I have said yes and possibly been turned into an episode of Snapped? Or pay the 25 dollars and show up to the workshop? |
