| I have a daughter who will be 2 in 24 days. Her father left me when I was 7 months pregnant. The first year I bent over backwards to try to make it easy for him to have something to do with her. After her first birthday, I gave up and decided I was tired of going out of my way b/c he was taking it for granted. In the past 6 months he has seen her twice; once for 3 hours (Easter) after I finally agreed he could have her all day b/c he pitched a bitch. The other time was a month ago for 20 minutes. He has not showed up countless times. He doesn't pay child support and only bought 5 packs of diapers, 2 outfits, a stuffed bear, 1 pack of wipes in her life time. When he has seen here, it's not about her; he's digging for info on what I'm doing. Like today when he called, he started talking about wanting hot sex in a nice motel before ever asking about her?! Does n't there come a time to say fuck it and just cut him out completely or just let it keep going? |
