My daughter's father died last year, June 18, over in Iraq, making tomorrow one year. It was a rough time, getting his body home, getting everything arranged for the funeral, it just plain sucked, and it was the hardest time of his family's and my life.
So here I am with a family of my own who wants to be supportive too. My b/f loves Larry's family and wants to be there too but can't get there until Friday night. I am having second thoughts on me driving up tonight. Is it because I can't face the fact that it has been an entire year and he really isn't coming home, or is it that I want to be able to take my family up with me? |
