I keep getting people thanking me for my service to the country and being in Iraq. I am just doing the job I love. I think my kids deserve the thank you because they are losing out on being with me. They did not ask to be left I chose to join the Army and it led to me being here. I have one girl that was born when I was in Korea.She has spent most of here life so far away from me.
I feel like it more important for them to know this than me.
Should I feel good people are thanking me or bad because my kids dont how important their sacrifice is to others????? |
