| So I'm getting really fed up with my job! I've been working there since Nov. 2006 and I'm part-time (full time student as well). I work 2nd shift at an emergency vet clinic. Some nights if we're busy, I dont even get a chance to eat or take a breather. I've also been at work until like 3:30 am or later and have to be up for 4 hours of classes the next day at 7:30. My grades were starting to drop slightly, because of the lack of sleep and time to study and get my homework done. On top of that, everyone there are really mean to each other and talk shit about everyone. My boss also is never there. I had to get my wisdom teeth out yesterday and didn't know until Thursday (was only day until 3 days before school, didn't wanna wait and go thru it that close to school) and I tried calling her and got no answer. I left her a voicemessage and asked her to call back ASAP. After 5 hours of nothing, I tried again. I wanted to know if I should find someone to work for me or if the other 4 scheduled would be enough staff for the night. She never returned my call or anything and she's never in the office...ever! The job has been really stressing me out and I think I want a new job, everyone keeps telling me these probs. are at every job though. Should I stick it out and tolerate this job, or go find a more enjoyable job? |
