mum expired. [FRIENDS]

This evening I'm working on my page & watching my bar tab so I can make new friends. (Like many of us do) I saw a new member then headed to their page to welcome,rate,comment,maybe fan and possibly add them as a new friend. I check the newbie, rate their profile a 10 as I always do. Then I hit leave comment and the member has BLOCKED all comments! I can understand this with some Senior Members mostly the ladies because of the assortment of weirdos and head cases we have here at fubar, but come on,fresh meat? Blocking ALL comments! WTF Why did they join a social site if they don't want to contact others?? Any way My mumm is would any of you all do this as a new member? And if you did what would be your reason to do so?
