| Recently my 13 y o step daughter spent a month with us for the summer with her 14 y o sister and my 12 y o daughter. I dont let my daughter date as she is 12 and i feel thats too young, but the mother of the 13 and 14 y o feel its ok. However upon their arrival we discovered that the 13 y o was dating a boy who was 17. Her dad and i forbid any contact with him while they were here and told her that it was illeagle not to mention wot 17 y o boys want at that age. Now shes writing me hate mail telling me they broke up because she hadnt been allowed to talk to him and that no one else cared and it was all my fault. If you had a 13 y o daughter would you let her date a 17 y o boy? |
