How Chris met Trudy:
Chris had been on LC since June of 2006 and Trudy joined the end of July. Neither one of us was looking for a relationship as we both had already been through quite a bit in our personal lives.
Chris had stopped by Trudy's LC page and left a comment and so Trudy in return, stopped by Chris's page and left the same. Trudy then had sent several shouts to Chris trying to "talk" with him, but could never catch him on at the same time she was on. Then as fate would have it, one day she sent another shout and he actually answered. Trudy almost fainted.
Wasn't long before they were chatting on the phone. Their first phone conversation lasted 9 whole hours. (And they say women are the ones who yack on the phone alot).
After talking by internet, phone etc. for several months, Chris and Trudy made plans to meet. Trudy had vacation time coming but Chris wasn't able to take time off.
The last week of October, Trudy drove from California to Texas... was suppose to stay a week and then go back to California, well it didn't turn out quite that way... she came to Texas, but never left... and that is how Chris met Trudy.
Well finally I can add some info to this page. I am 39 moved here from Slidell, Louisiana. I have been here in Texas for about 9 years now and well as you can tell met a very wonderful woman on here and we are now together. When you see the pictures its a very intersting pair a Coon Ass and a Yankee LMAO. I still like to tell her she sounds like she's from Boston but thats another story for another time lol She has made my life complete finally. She is the woman I always wanted but had given up on ever finding.
About Trudy:
Well I am 43 years old. I now live in Fort Worth, Texas. Long story how I came to be here, but I am glad I am. I was born and raised in Maine. Lived there till I was 36, then moved to California. Lived there for 6 years which has brought me to where I am today, Texas.
I met a this wonderful man on Cherry Tap (Lost Cherry at the time). Wasn't really looking for a relationship and yet he walked into my life and my heart. We both have been through heck and back and yet, through it all we found each other and are willing to start a new life together.
I am a PROUD MOM. My Son, Ryan Wayne, passed away at the young age of 17 due to Ryabdomyasarcoma, which is a form of cancer. He was and is an amazing young man and I will forever miss him.

Interests
CHRIS: Love being a dad have had my boys alone since aug of 90. The boys mother left and never looked back, fine by me I loved and still love my boys first and foremost. I am very family oriented, is there anything wrong with that. I am very music oriented, cds now over 850, just a small collection. lol My other fave collecting is lighthouses. I love movies, me and my youngest enjoy them a lot. My oldest moved out about two months ago.
TRUDY: Well, I like to read, write poetry. I am a stay at home type person. Prefer a quiet night at home cuddling then going out etc. I do webpage design on the side. Love to design graphics etc.
Music
Chris has a BIG passion for music and I feel music can express feelings better then actual words at times (not always)! Chris and I have compiled a few "Love" songs that mean something to us, rather it be the whole song, just one verse or even the chorus and we wanted to share them with you. Hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
CHRIS: This is my Subject. If I had this in school man oh man what a student I would have been. Rock mostly in many, many forms. You will see as I add them some shots from a few of the many many bands I have been to see. My cd collection is over 850 and still growing. I have everything in there from Michael Bolton all the way to Ozzy. I could go on and on about music. My faves from my hometown of New Orleans are ZEBRA, Lillian Axe, Near Life Experience. The big names I most love are Van Halen*the man changed the face of music and guitar playing* just with they would wake up and get back out there. YES is a huge fave since I was a little one starting to listen to musci on the radio. If you want a lenthy conversation just start me on music.
TRUDY: My favorite music is and always will be COUNTRY! There isn't many country artists that I don't care for, NEW or OLD. I do listen to other music as well, but if you are asking what I like on a day to day basis, it is Country Music. There are a lot of great songs if people would just listen to the music. Country music has changed over the years.
Movies
CHRIS: First one comes to mind is Dee Snyder's Strangeland, then Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club band , Frequency, quite a few different Horror movies. There are quite a few movies I really like.
TRUDY: I am not a big movie buff, but I don't mind watching them from time to time. I think my all time favorite movie is Ghost. I do not care for horror movies. Comedies are always great to watch.
Idols
CHRIS: For those who know me best this is an easy one to answer. My first love has always been music. I have been in awe of so many great musicians over the years. First to come to mind Edward Van Halen, even though its been a long time he is still the best out there. Some other top pics for me Ty from King's X, Steve Blaze from Lillian Axe/Near Life Experience, Randy Jackson from ZEBRA- the last two are hometown hero's Randy and Steve I have seen both over ten times each live and love the way they play and the fact they both write all the music and lyrics for the bands.
TRUDY: I will always idolize my son for the strength, courage and determination he has always shown not just through his fight with cancer, but in everything he attempted to do. Ryan was/is and always will be a remarkable man.

Video Games
CHRIS: Tekken is the fave of this day and age. I love to battle my youngest boy when we find any of the Tekken games. But I grew up with the starting point for all video games Atari 2600. I know old school but it beat the hell out of Pong which was all we orginally had. lol I am not that old dont even go there. TRUDY: Well let's see! I like (or used to like) playing nintendo etc. but I haven't played in a while. I used to play the Atari too but that was a while ago. And between you and me, yes he is THAT old! LOL
