I CAN BE FOUND IN OTHER SPACES USING THE SAME NAME AS THIS SPACE IS..........ZERO to CHAOS is MASON.I am Mason.I play every instrument and do all the vocals.Every sound you hear on these songs was made entirely by me.I wrote,performed,recorded,engineered,mixed,and produced every note and noise you hear all by my lonesome.(except the obvious talking samples in the intros)I am in no way trying to come off as in love with myself or being cocky i am simply the only person in this one man band and that's not alway's clear to some people so i am trying to be as clear as possible,so again i apologize if this seem's self endulgent,but there is no way around it.I am also playing guitar and bass for BACKYARD EPICS (my brother Marc is handling that page)...ZERO to CHAOS is my main project.These songs were recorded in my apt.and later in my house on a yamaha md8(which was discontinued for compression problems,I do not endorse anyone buying this product unless you like heartache,the only reason i told ya what i used is so i could get a pass or something,cuz the recorder was a handicap!!).These songs were written and recorded during the years 1997-2002.And are a part of a double concept album.Since I am unsigned and working alone in my room I have tinkered around and sat on the songs a bit once it was written and originally recorded,up until recently.Mainly because of the fact there was no real way to get the album out at the time...now we gots computers!!Which leads me to this,there were NO KEYBOARDS or COMPUTERS used or harmed in any way in the making of this entire project....though a drum machine was beaten severely and used in concert with guitar pedals & live drums as well.There is NO MIDI of anykind.Again mainly cuz i dont know what midi really is.lol.I played all the guitar,vocals,drums,bass,organ,piano,drum machines,sampling,sequencing,and turntables on this entire project.Sometimes people hear this and ask...this you singing?or this you playing drums?So I hope this helps ya understand how this was all made...BY ME!!!ALONE!!!***UPDATE***:The home studio got a make over BIGTIME....SOON TO COME...all songs from VOL.0 (parts I & II)will be remastered and in some cases re-recorded,ALSO AT LEAST 5 TRACKS HAVE MADE IT OFF THE CUTTING ROOM FLOOR AND WILL BE ON THE ALBUMS FINAL CUT...and up for sale on itunes in the coming months...also look for an ENTIRELY NEW ZERO to CHAOS ALBUM(yes,i like to say the word album)....WRITING AND RECORDING ON THAT HAS ALREADY BEGUN.So if i am slow to respond now ya know why...i'm back in the studio.And I can't fight it anymore...computers and keyboards may now be involved.And I have now learned what midi is....that's all I'm saying.lol.But in the meantime...though ZERO to CHAOS is one man, all songs could easily be played live with a 5 or six piece band,nothing is over produced or studio only,despite the sound,and actually that is the point of the sound of ZERO to CHAOS...to be more than just three chords and whining....there's at least five chords i swear.lol.Anyway finding the right group of people to help me out with playing my music live hasnt been a hi priority,certainly not to the extent of just creating the music,period.So until i am signed or able to find or hire the right group to be in ZERO to CHAOS,I PLEDGE TO JUST PROVIDE YOU WITH A CONSTANT FLOW OF NEW MUSIC,and with the way technology is staying ahead of the game,and making it possible for unsigned bands to have following's and album sales all over the world,it is now possible to do so.Thanks Again
