We Live in Iraq so-called earning the dollar
All around this place is of squalor
Al Qaida is becoming increasingly wilder
We linger the time when things will be calmer
I wait here listening to sounds of a mew
While they plan their attack on the proud and the few
I sit in a dark alley with others acting the fool
Waiting to be consumed in a crimson colored pool
Dont think that Im wise or sound like Im cool
Because Im enlisted, I failed to continue in school
My guts are cramping and stirring untamed
And my blood pulses quickly through each of my veins
Will I have to endure a horrible pain?
In a world in which it barely rains
And the blood on the ground makes for a stain
To group with the trash that always convenes
Will my body pain replace life full of doubt?
While the c-wire rips my insides to out
And my flesh ends up into the mouth
Of a dog whose stench went way too far south
Could you picture the rife of this world in despair?
Which denies all the kids in Iraq from fresh air?
In a place so nasty that hygiene is keen
The killers recruit to make a big team
We dispose of the evils to make this place clean
Let me inform you
Marines are living the dream
