How do you feel about Pit-Bulls, should they be banned from New York State? I personably, as an Am. Staff. Pit-Bull terrier owner believes in punishing the deed not the breed. This week in Rochester a sex year old was killed after being attacked by a pit-bull, the child was feeding the animal when it turned on the boy and mulled him. I think that these dogss are not at fault the responsibility should fall on the owners for not properly training them and treating them as fighting contenders. I have owned and mated pits for over ten years and I have never had any problems as far as getting attacked myself or having to put one of my dogs down for being overly aggressive. It is very heartbreaking for me to see these beautiful creatures being slaughter because of the unreasonable people whom lack the knowledge and ability to be able to take good care of this breed of dog and have them only for the purpose of sport and gaining money.
