| Really need some advice here...long story short...2 women from a nail salon pressed charges on me for misdemeanor assault and disorderly conduct...i plead NOT GUILTY.. cause I really seriously DID NOT even touch them!!! ok, so im kinda guilty on the disorderly...but NOT the assault! they arent budging on the plea bargan...they want me 2 pay big fines and do 25 hrs anger mangmt. Keep in mind that i have NEVER been in trouble with the law b4 and i did not physically assault the girl that claims i did, but its 2 against 1 and not lookin good.. the trial by jury is the day after tomorrow, i was thinkin i should fight it through.. since im not guilty, if we have a decent justice system, i should be found not guilty, right? if i lose at trial, i could face jail time... or i could take the plea...and get a lesser punishment then if im found guilty by jury... but i dont want to take the plea cause i didnt assault anyone. what do i do? comment please.. thx :) |
