For me, this past year and a half of my life has been a roller coaster with lots of twists and turns. Basically, it has come to the point where I am completely starting over... New town, new job, new begining.
I thought things were going well for me- I thought that was getting all of my financial issues taken care of, and I was begining to get up the nerve to actually get out and start meeting people again.
Well, today I was told that the company I am temping for was 'on the fence' about keeping me to finish out my contract because some of the regular staff has complained that I "dont take initiatve' and 'have to be told what to do'. This paticular assignment is the first time I have worked in this specific area of the nursing field, so I still have times where I don't know what end is up, but this is the happiest I have been with my work in a long time. I guess what I'm asking is- give it time, work harder, show them all who the best really is, or just let it go, and whatever happens happen, and pretty much let them all go fk themselves? |
