| My daughter goes to school with and use to date a 17 year old boy....Saturday night, he was at a party, his best friends girl, was really drunk, and wanted to go home (puking-passing out drunk). This boy was not planning on leaving the party but left to take her home. He is also drunk. Another girl at the party rode with them. He blacks out wrecks. His best friends girl is dead. She did not have on a seat belt, so was thrown from the car. The other two had on seatbelts and had only scratches-bruises. He is being tried as an adult, because he is 6 months near 18. Should he get 15-20 for vehicular manslaughter? Or is this just a terrible teenage accident, and he should be spared with a 5 year sentence? Is the girl at fault? |
