I just got done watching "Open Water". I know I'm a bit behind the time on that one but a friend just brought it over since I hadn't seen it. Why was this movie so criticly acclaimed? "I Am Legend" was also a disappointment.

Should I just except that Hollywood is corrupt and not expect anything good to come from there?
