I met this awesome guy about 8 months ago. He's in the Navy. I'm 29 and he's 22. He has another 5 years in the Navy, atleast. He was here all last week, after being gone for a month, and he is gone again. He will be in Seattle for the next 2-3 years.
He has asked me to elope and move to Seattle with him. I have always lived alone, and we both have no kids, he lived with his mother up until he joined the Navy.
On average a Sailor is gone 260 days a year. It was hard on me when he was gone for only 1 month
My best friend thinks I shouldn't do it. She says he is to young and his whole outlook on life will change... and that i should let him leave and stay here. But everyone does like him . He fits in well with the friends and family.
If I leave... I am giving up a job I have had for 3 years, a great apartment and all my friends and family. To be alone in a strange place while he is deployed. I do love him, But is he to young? I have only known him for 8 months... is this to soon? And being alone 6-7 months a year is going to be really hard..... I know this. But I love him... and do think he is my soulmate What should i do.....
