I have lived in Chicago most of my life, and in late November my apartment burned down.
My boyfriend at that time, asked me to come to Washington, where he is stationed, and marry him. I did and have been here for 3 months. He's in the Navy, and will be deployed soon. I have only found a part time job as a nanny, which doesn't help me meet new people. There are not many jobs in the town we live in, and this one is only for a couple more months.
My question is, do I stay here, and hope to find a job. Keep the place we have and be without my friends, family, and of course him too.
Or go back to Chicago while he's gone, save some money, and be with my friends and family. He will be here for the next 5 years. So if I stay, hopefully I can find a steady job, and meet people.
But I miss everyone, and this is a good time to go back for awhile and stay with family. They want me to come back.... He said it's my call. And I know it is. I just want to see what others would do if they were me.
A) Go home for awhile
B) Stay here and deal with the life I made. |
